i just have to put it out there, logan is a bit thin to play spidey :/ (& yes, i know tobey mcGuire was too, but in the tv show and comics, spider man was supposed to be buff.)
Wait I'm confused. Logan said in the original interview that there were some talks but he didn't detail as to what exactly they were talking about and how serious the talks were. Sony and Logan's reps then categorically say that no offers have been made and no "business discussions" occurred. So Logan lied or (un)intentionally exaggerated as to what level the talks were (maybe they were the casual "Hey Logan, we're making a long-list of actors and would like to check if you're interested" type?)? Or did the media latch on to his non-committal comment and blow it out of proportion?
Honestly, Logan wouldn't be a bad Peter Parker if they were adapting the ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN franchise. The Parker/Spider-Man persona in that series is quite a stick compared to the somewhat bulkier Spider-Man of the original MARVEL universe continuity.

If PJO launches him into stardom, he might not even be open for Spidey anyway..
